Anonymous: Despite that I have (depending on which tester you ask) an IQ of 179 or 181, I never even went to high school. The last grade I completed was grade 9. What does that tell you? That even people with high IQs can be idiots and imbeciles. Heh. And me, I'm the all-time, heavyweight champion of that rule.

I've probably written over 30,000 published pages, authored, co-authored, or edited 17 books, and beaten some of the best law firms in America at strategy and still...I'm your average idiot. A regular man of the people. I drink Edelweiss, smoke Dunhills, and eat German food twice a week (at Old Vienna in Ventura, California, one of the best and most authentic German eateries in the US). But don't let that fool you. I've read over 4,000 books in my life (or just shy of three for every day I've been alive). About 1/10th of those were hardcore compsci books.

I code well enough to make a living at it in C, C++, VB, SQL, PL/SQL (even with Oracle OCI, which is a dog), perl, awk, sed, the shells, python, REXX (don't laugh now), Envelop (VB knockoff), BusinessBasic (ProvideX), AION, and of course, php, jscript, javascript, vbscript, blah, blah. But no...I've never even seen the inside of a university (though, I've spent enough time in fraternity houses, drinking chiefly German beer, Irish whiskey, and so forth).
