Brandneuer High-End-Grafikchip
Fazit, Testergebnisse und technische Daten
Fazit: Ja natürlich ist die neue High-End-Grafikkarte superschnell - alles läuft mit hoher Bildqualität in nahezu jeder Auflösung. Für den Kartenpreis von 300 Euro kann man das ja auch erwarten. Vom Hocker haut einen der neue Grafikchip aber trotzdem nicht. Das liegt einerseits am Treiber, der die Leistungsfähigkeit der Technik noch nicht in hohe Bildraten umsetzen kann - hier kann Nvidia noch einige Bilder/s rausholen. Andererseits handelt es sich bei Nvidias vorliegender Neuvorstellung nur um eine Weiterentwicklung einer bestehenden Infrastruktur, nicht um einen Architektur- oder Generationswechsel. Ein Quantensprung in der Leistung ist gerade auch noch nicht in Sicht und aufgrund eines fehlenden Pioniergeistes im Lager der 3D-Spieleprogrammierer auch nicht nötig.
