Zahl der spielbaren Xbox-1-Titel wächst erneut
Im Gegensatz zu Sony, das bei seiner Playstation 3 die Abwärtskompatibilität nicht mehr anbieten will, steht Microsoft zu dem Versprechen, viele Xbox-1-Titel nach und nach auch auf der Xbox 360 spielbar zu machen. Durch ein neues Emulator-Update erhöht sich die Zahl der spielbaren Xbox-1-Spiele um über 80 Titel.
Microsoft kümmert sich weiterhin darum, dass Xbox-1-Spiele auch auf der Xbox 360 spielbar sind. Das dafür zuständige Entwickler-Team hat nun ein Update für den Emulator veröffentlicht. Durch das Update werden über 80 weitere Xbox-1-Spiele auf der Xbox 360 spielbar.
Folgende Xbox-1-Spiele sind nunmehr ebenfalls auf der Xbox 360 spielbar:

Auf der Website xbox.com wurde die deutschsprachige Liste mit den spielbaren Xbox-1-Titeln noch nicht aktualisiert. Die englischsprachige Liste enthält dagegen alle bereits alle Neuzugänge.
Besitzer des jeweiligen Xbox-1-Spiels müssen nur das Spiel in die Xbox 360 einlegen. Bei einer bestehenden Online-Verbindung wird der Emulator aktualisiert und anschließend kann das Spiel gespielt werden. Eine Festplatte wird vorausgesetzt.
Am 4. Dezember wird Microsoft auch das Herbst-Update für die Xbox 360 ausliefern. Ab diesem Zeitpunkt wird Microsoft Xbox-1-Titel für jeweils 1200 Microsoft-Punkte (13,96 Euro) direkt über Xbox Live zum Download anbieten.
