Erster HD-RW-Brenner für Notebooks
Toshiba hat den weltweit ersten HD-DVD-Brenner für Notebooks fertig gestellt, der wiederbeschreibbare Medien unterstützt. Er beschreibt neben HD DVD-R und HD DVD-RW auch herkömmliche DVDs und CDs.
Der Brenner SD-L912A ist mit 12,7 Millimetern äußerst flach und eignet sich somit insbesondere für den Einsatz in Ultralight-Notebooks. Toshiba will das Gerät erstmals auf der Computex 2007 in Taipeh der Öffentlichkeit präsentieren.
